E.B. lab（イービーラボ）は異色のアーティスト- YOKO J.の部屋です
YOKO J.は日本生まれ、1995年から活動を始め、多岐にわたる実績を積み、現在日本を拠点にアート制作・デザイン・イラストのご依頼を承っております
”E.B.（イービー）”は彼女が影響を受けたブータンの東方方言（シャチョッカ）の「イビ（＝だれ？）」に由来します
"E.B. lab" is the space for an outsider artist- YOKO J..
YOKO J. was born in Japan, has been an artist since 1995, have obtained a wide range of achievements. Now, she based in Japan, works for various orders of art production, design, and illustration.
"E.B." comes from "ibi" (=who?) in the eastern dialect(Shachopa) of Bhutan which influenced her.

1993～1997 中国・北京市に滞在
1995 中国農民画に感銘を受け、創作活動を始める
2000 オフィシャルサイト『来来我的四合院』開設（2011年ブータン渡航まで）
2002 『西遊記』が東方書店の『中国語で学ぶ 中国文化基礎知識改訂版』表紙に採用
2004 金沢在住シルクスクリーン作家・寺尾ユリ子女史に師事
2006～2009 作品展での受賞・入選多数
2006 ブータンに訪問、建築装飾に魅了される
2010 金沢市・天徳院にて個展開催
2011 ブータン王国・ティンプー市にある国立伝統工芸学院の仏画科本科入学（2015 卒業）
2012 ティンプー市･テルトン･ギャラリーにて個展開催
2013 クンザン･チョデン作・絵本『Tshegho The garment of life』(生命の衣)のデザインを担当、出版
2013〜2015 受賞・グループ展参加多数、多くの雑誌でも紹介される。手がけた多くの作品が公的所蔵品となる
2016〜2017 ティンプー市・ペルキルスクール小中学部の図画工作教師として従事
2016 カナダ・ケベック州・マゴック国際ナイーブアート美術館が選ぶ世界のナイーブ・アーティスト34人に選ばれ、作品が所蔵される（この頃から、世界にナイーブアーティストとして認知されるようになる）
2017 ブータン人写真家-ケザン・ナムゲの写真集『Sacred Dances of Bhutan』のブータンマスクダンス地図制作を担当
2018 日本帰国、「ブータン伝統美術工房（事務所）」を設立
2019〜 展示会・ワークショップ・トークショーを多数開催、雑誌にも紹介される
2020/2022 台北新藝術博覧会(A.R.T.)入選
2023 オフィシャルサイト『E.B. Lab』開設
1993-1997 Stayed in Beijing, China.
1995 Inspired by Chinese auspicious painting（農民畫/年畫）, and started painting.
2000 Found Official site- “Lailai Wo de SiHeYuan”(Biglobe).(till 2022)
2002 On a Chinese language text book by Toho Shoten(Japan).
2004 Started silkscreen art.
2006-2009 Obtained many awards and selected by many exhibitions.
2006 First visiting Bhutan, and fascinated with Bhutanese auspicious painting.
2010 Solo exhibition at Tentoku Temple in Kanazawa-city, Japan.
2011 Entered the 6-years Thangka course at National Institute for Zorig Chusum, Thimphu. (Till 2015)
2012 Solo exhibition at Terton Gallery in Thimphu, Bhutan.
2013 Illustrated a children book “Tshegho -the garment of life-“ written by Bhutanese woman author-Kunzang Choden.
2013-2015 Obtained many awards and participated many group exhibitions, and introduced by many magazines. Many works in public collections
2016-2017 Worked at Pelkhil School as Arts & Crafts teacher in Thimphu, Bhutan.
2016 A group exhibition "Imaginaive" at Musée international d'art naïf de Magog, Quebec, Canada. （From this time, recognized as a naive artist in the world.）
2017 Designed a photographic book “Sacred Dances of Bhutan” by Bhutanese photographer- Kezang Namgay.
2018 Moved to Japan, and founded Bhutanese Traditional Art Studio in Japan.
2019- Held many exhibitions, workshops, talkshows, and introduced on a magazine.
2020/2022 Selected as a finalist of International Artists Grand Prix Competition of "Art Revolution Taipei".
2023 Found Official site- “E.B. Lab”.
